Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care as per the Home Care Plan.
• Offer empathetic and dignified support to clients.
• Promote the well-being and safety of clients.
• Assist with medication administration according to care plans.
• Support personal hygiene (bathing, oral care, toileting, showering).
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns following company policies.

Qualifications:

• Manual Handling Certification
• Level 5 QQI “Care for the Elderly”
• Level 5 QQI “Care Skills”

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliability, compassion, and patience
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Other Requirements:

• International Police Clearance / Garda Vetting
• Character references
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a home carer or in a related role
• A clean driver’s license (advantageous but not mandatory)
