The Pakistan Military Academy is the site of the PMA Long Course, which spans two years. Eligibility Criteria of Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course
Qualification with Age:
- Intermediate or equivalent degree holders between the ages of 17 and 22 may register.
- Graduation (2-year degree) holders and Serving Pakistan Navy or Pakistan Air Force members ages 17 to 23 are eligible to register.
- Graduation (4-Year Program) BS, BA (Hon), BBA, or BPA graduates between the ages of 17 and 24 may enroll.
- Army personnel between the ages of 17 and 25 are eligible to register.
- Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
- Fresh candidates must be unattached; however, married serving members of the Armed Forces over the age of 20 are also eligible to apply.
- Citizens of any Pakistani province, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, are eligible to register. At the time of final selection, candidates with dual nationality must relinquish other nationalities.
- Physical Requirements: Minimum Height: Each candidate must be at least 5 Feet, 4 Inches (162.5 centimeters) tall. Distance vision should be 6/9 or 6/12 with or without corrective lenses, and near vision should be J2, J7, or N8, N12 with or without corrective lenses.

How to Apply for Pakistan Military Academy PMA Long Course
- Online registration is available at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
- Candidates can also register by visiting the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) located in every major city in Pakistan.
- The following cities have AS&RCs: Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Multan, DI Khan, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, Khuzdar, and Pano Aqil. Registration is available
Selection Procedure of Pakistan Military Academy Long Course
- As part of the selection process, each candidate must take a written or intelligence test consisting of multiple-choice questions on English, mathematics, Pakistani studies, Islamiat, and general knowledge.
- After passing written and intelligence tests, qualified candidates will be subjected to physical and medical examinations and an interview at AS&RCs.
- During the Physical Test, candidates must complete the duties listed below.
- 6 kilometers in 8 minutes.
- 15 repetitions of Push-Ups in two minutes.
- Twenty repetitions of sit-ups in two minutes.
- Three repetitions of chin-ups in two minutes.
- Seven feet, four inches in width, and four feet in depth.
- Candidates who pass the Physical Test will be interviewed at the AS&RC, and only those who pass the interview will take the ISSB test.
