What You’d Do:
- Facilitate fundamental circulation and registration procedures to ensure that consumers have prompt access to library materials: Performs the following duties: issue library cards, verify account charges, maintain customer records in the database, explain circulation policies and procedures orally, and process patron requests for reserve materials.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by aiding patrons in utilizing library databases, computer equipment, and software; processing materials requested by patrons; assembling and dispatching Interlibrary Loan requests; and offering reader’s advisory support to patrons.
- Perform special undertakings when directed to do so.
- Cooperate in your efforts with others.
- Utilize your ability to make decisions to enhance the customer experience.
- Materials weighing up to forty pounds must be moved between book bins and shelving.
- The workplace may be dusty or boisterous.
- Delivers notarial services to every patron of the library. Training will be furnished to fulfill the obligations of the notary services.
